Le suspens sur la course hommes n’aura pas duré aussi longtemps que sur la course féminine. Pour sa rentrée sur les Strade Bianche, Tadej Pogacar n’a pas fait dans l’originalité et a attaqué dans le Monte Sante Marie, à près de 80 km de l’arrivée, comme l’an dernier. Le Slovène a à nouveau réalisé un numéro en solitaire pour s’offrir une quatrième fois les Strade Bianche. Finalement, c’est la course pour la deuxième place et le podium qui s’est avéré être la plus intéressante. Derrière le Slovène, Paul Seixas (Decathlon CMA CGM), Matteo Jorgenson (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), Isaac del Toro (UAE Team Emirates XRG) ou Tom Pidcock (Pinarello Q36.5 Cycling Team) se sont battus pour le podium. Seixas et Del Toro se sont isolés dans le final, et même si le Mexicain n’a pas passé de relais au Français, c’est bien Seixas qui prend la deuxième place pour sa première fois sur les chemins blancs italiens.

Tells you everything when they only show 6mins' of Strade Bianche .. I didn't bother to watch the race today as it's so predictable, nor will I watch any future races with Pogacar, i willjust come on here and watch 6min's, it is more than enough. The commentators can try to dress it up as much as they like, but this type of racing is not good for cycling!

You are witnessing the greatest cyclist ever to mount the bike. The Michael Jordan of cycling. He rides away from the peloton and simply rides to the win. Not even a combination of riders can match him. He is what every cyclist since Merckx has wished they were capable of… a complete champion.

DEL TORO WAS A GENTLEMAN BY LETTING SEIXAS GO THROUGH FIRST, BECAUSE SEIXAS HAD DONE ALL THE WORK IN THE FINAL PART WITHOUT ANY HELP FROM DEL TORO. HE PREFERRED TO LET SEIXAS CROSS FIRST TO AVOID PEOPLE SAYING HE WON IN A DIRTY WAY WHEN IN REALITY SEIXAS HAD DONE ALL THE WORK. HE AVOIDED DOING A WOUT VAN AERT IN THAT SAME FINISH.

Pogacar is back and still the biggest shark in the fish tank. The kids, how he call them, or mini sharks, are growing up,, but to challenge the big shark it still needs some time.
