✍️Dr. Matthew Harb is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon practicing in Washington D.C. Today we we talk about hip replacement operation. I perform a minimally invasive direct anterior hip replacement. This prevents the muscles from being cut. Most of my operations patients are up and walking the same day do stairs and go home. This is an excellent procedure if you have chronic hip pain or arthritis that is not resolved with non-operative measures.

Horrible surgery. Horrible pain. Wished I'd never done it
Minimally invasive? I was thinking, that this trauma is one of the deadliest for old people….
I just had this done 2 weeks ago, and went home same day. I'm getting around really well with a cane right now. Probably won't need it in another couple weeks I'd guess.
I just had this done.
Not the same day. May be after 2 days.
Stairs the same day😱
This is modern orthopedics at its best. AI has the potential to fine-tune implant positioning and reduce long-term complications. Happy to share ideas or chat about how AI can add value here

People whole-ass missing the point. It's exactly as he says. Source: I had it done. Chill out, folks, modern medicine is actually wonderful. I suspect he does an Anterior or Lateral approach.
Had mine done 3 and a half weeks ago. This procedure, 1 night in the hospital. Very painful for 2 and 1/2 weeks and now finally getting some good relief and starting to walk now with a cane. Hoping another 3 weeks to be back swinging the golf club again

Is this the same as the anterior procedure?
