Hey guys! I’m brand new into mountain biking and I was wondering if this bike was worth it? He’s selling it for 375 and I have a 500 budget. Please let me know!
A dual sport is not a mountain bike so, no. See if you can find a used Marlin or Rockhopper. Preferably 1x but the 2x options are fine as well.

First off, this is not a mountain bike. This is a hybrid/fitness bike for groomed gravel greenways and bike paths, as well as streets and such
Second off, that is an absurd price. He’d be lucky to get $200-250 for it.

This is a hybrid bike. You could do some very light trail riding with this but it would get sketchy quickly.

my wife rides the same bike to get to work. Don’t take this on a proper trail please, they’re not meant for that.
