This cable setup and angle feels a bit intense for the front deraileur (105).

It is shifting well but curious if I may be pushing it/missed something and should have bypassed the frame's cable stop.

    That certainly doesn’t look right at all. Are you sure the frame is compatible with that of FD? Perhaps is compatible with another type (either clamp or cable pull direction/entrance)

  3. Doesn’t the fd have a housing stop meaning you can route directly your cable housing to the fd??

    The derailleur has a built in stop, I’d use that. Unsure what the sarcasm is about you have a legitimate question

    Install housing stop to full housing bracket on Amazon. Extend the cable housing to the FD.

  6. Yes, as others have said, just run the housing all the way to the stop on the derailleur. One of the great advantages of the newer shimano front mechs.
