  1. 18kmph at a standstill?
They are cheap Chinese bikes with a cheap GY6 engine fitted, it looks like it handle those cobbles like a shopping trolley,
You get what you pay for

  2. Another entertaining review, well done. You do get to review bikes that go beep. My washing machine plays a tune when its done a wash…..now that is proper annoying. Things should not beep.

  3. Agree with you on all of your points, especially the rev counter and speedo should be the other way round (stupid design)and the beeping indicators. That aside, it is a good looking scooter. I think ultimately British weather is the issue compared to the continent in regards to how many are around. You should've done your speed test to see how this compares on a 60mph road.

  4. What an ugly pile of modern day plastic sh!t. Looks & sounds pants !. Why they don't re-release a proper old style geared mostly metal Lambretta – I don't know. Could you imagine the sales if lambretta started producing GP 125s – 200s with a 4 or even a 5 speed box & all the modern bells & whistles ?. Royal Alloy look more like a proper lambretra than lambrettas do these days. Shame.

  5. Had mine 18 months and done almost 3000 miles on it. Ride all year round and it's not skipped a beat. I'm 6ft 3 and it's comfy for me. Filters great in traffic and nippt off the mark. You'll be lucky to get over 60 on it though. Best I've had is an indicated 63 and it was screaming!!!! 100% agree about the dials. Daft set up and the analogue speed needle can be a bugger to read when it's raining. Only gripe really is a bit more power would be nice and a slightly bigger glove box.

  6. I used to have the aprilia habana custom ( the one with the big chrome handle bars) it was only 50cc, but the guy i got it from got it de restricted after it was run in, the wee thing was rapid off the lights & would do 57 mph all day long, 60mph with a wee wind behind you, also got the chrome crash bars & luggage rack fitted to it, loved that wee thing, but vertigo put an end to it & had to sell it, i keep looking at bikes again & the wifes not happy lol😅

  7. Scooters really aren't my thing, but I dare say someone will love this. Not the old ( about my age tbh ) Mod who rides a Lambretta Which isn't exactly new either ) who's around my way though. Apparently all new scooters – apart from Lmbrettas – are crap. And he prefers his old one to those anyway lol.

  8. Classic style scooters have a wonderful Euro-retro-cool-cosmopolitan vibe that almost no one in America appreciates. It's very unfortunate. Very fun and practical machines.
