New bike build. Is my chain too long or something? Did the standard big sprocket-big chainring + 1 pin chain sizing. I’ve adjusted the B-tension with the Shimano paper guide and adjusted the H / L limit screws but still can’t fix this. Why is it holding such an aggresive upward angle?

Your derailleur is installed incorrectly.

See the one with the yellow frame on the right? Notice how the B link sits horizontal where it’s vertical on your bike? It needs to be horizontal.
