Just put the roof rack back on the sports car. Idk if I’m entirely convinced of its structural integrity but seemed ok driving reasonable. Probably won’t be swangin the car with the bike up top. Kinda a pain to lift a 35ish lb enduro sled up top but still way better than no bike transport. Pic taken today in Santa Cruz, CA.

Youre all good. Been mounting to my 5 series for a few years now.
Hidden hitch mount is so much better. Nothing on the roof, easy to load the bike, no dirt and debris from the bike on your roof and trunk. Nice setup and ride though!
