Went into a new shop to service my BMC gravel bike and was talking to the owner about wanting a road bike. I originally wanted to buy the new Scott Addict 40 2026 which he didn’t had in my size but got offered a BMC Teammachine SLR Three from 2022 for the same price (3200€) but with Ultegra Di2.
It’s my first road bike and I can’t decide which one I shall buy now.
Got another private offer for a used BMC Roadmachine 2024 with upgraded carbon wheels for 2700€ in top condition.
I am running in circles with my decision, what would you guys decide for? Not sure if a race bike like the Teammachine is built for my purpose, I just wanna roll alone or for a long ride and sometimes with my friends.
