Learn how to survive and thrive living off-grid or outside conventional society by mastering essential survival skills, bushcraft techniques, and urban/outdoor living hacks across the UK and France. Stealth camping in a disused French train yard while cycling across France.

In this episode of my French cycling journey, I stumble across a hidden railway restoration yard filled with vintage train carriages. Instead of sleeping inside the trains, I set up a stealth tarp camp right in the yard.

The next day the adventure continues as I cycle through historic World War 1 battlefield areas near Arras, discovering mysterious bunker remains, electrical insulators, and relics scattered through a small woodland.

From train graveyards to WW1 history, this is another day of nomadic travel across France by bicycle.

If you enjoy stealth camping, urban survival, wild camping, bikepacking, and exploring forgotten places — you’re in the right place.

I’ve just arrived in France with nothing but my bicycle and everything I own strapped to it. This is part of my 90-day journey across Europe, travelling from Dunkirk toward the Mediterranean coast while living outdoors and sleeping rough along the way.

After three years of ness, I’ve embraced this way of life. No hotels. No bookings. Just a bike, basic cooking gear, and whatever shelter I can find along the journey.

Round 2 continues where I discover a hidden train yard with old carriages where I stealth camp for the night, and later a small woodland containing remnants of what appears to be an old World War bunker area.

  2. I think the last video I saw was …Slumming it in France …I think 🤔 the new lay out of you tube is much harder for me to see what I’ve watched and even to find my own videos easily or edit them now 🙄🤯 …they’re always faffing with stuff 🫤
I can’t see any Patreon stuff cos I don’t wanna click the pop ups that tell me to watch it on this that or the other ..I’d rather just stick to normal You Tube… so maybe cos of that I’m missing other videos ..bummer 😞
Anyhow whatever you upload to normal You Tube I’ll see God Willing x x x I saw the one where the Holy Spirit / gut instinct, told you not to sleep on the train carriage ..well done going with that prompting ❤️✝️🕊️😇😍🥰😘 x x x
The good weather makes all the difference ❤

  3. Your videos are the sort where when I see a new one is up, I think – "oh good! that's my viewing for the evening!" I really enjoyed this one. Peanuts are one of the most heavily sprayed crops, and absorb more of it being in the ground. I like it too, but always buy organic. You wear something over your eyes at night – eh?!! I thought you said you like looking up at the stars!!

  4. Richard Vobes (channel of that name, in case you don't know it) also turns his electricity off completely at night, for the same reasons as you.

  5. When you say “Internet do your thing and look this up for me or date this for me” why dont you research it and look it up yourself. You sound very entitled when you demand your followers to do something for you which you’re more than capable of doing yourself.

Edit. It would be more respectful if you ASK someone if they have any idea what it is you’re showing and to let people or yourself know in the comments.

  6. Ammo cans were always very heavy duty rectangular boxes with lids and handles on both ends. Looks like you found a discarded metal drawer. I still maintain that it's a farmers old old rubbish dump. The trees there aren't really all that old, they would be much larger if it was a old World War 2 site.

They often started as a poor agricultural area or low lying area that constantly flooded. Originally they would just toss the field stones there but as civilization modernized and the material we used were difficult to repurpose those items were tossed in there as well. Various levels of government and industry would also contract with them to dispose of large items such as concrete as well.

  7. We lived in France for 12 years or so. Land is protected carefully though if you ask the French will usually accommodate you. If you see an entrance with even a piece of string means don't cross unless you ask. PS the French are lovely people.

  8. You know the troll you pinned … they’re a trend going around …on every growing channel ….. another one is someone with 50 accounts ..starting a comment then replying to themselves using the other accounts they have ..making it look like all 50 follow a certain person on you tube who have made their fortune via them etc 🤪🤣😂🤣 …… they do it because some fall for it 🫤

It gives them adrenaline boosts …an addiction in itself ..they’re adrenaline addicts ..so can’t stop themselves …they need blocking ❤️✝️🕊️😇😍🥰😘 x x x pinning their comments is the best adrenaline boost they can get as it can go on forever with hundreds partaking against them..which is what they crave so bad …. Don’t feed the trolls …just block them ..there’s hundreds of them…block each one as they appear 🌹

  9. I just typed on Dud Corner British cemetery and found it on Google Earth 😃❤️✝️🕊️😇😍🥰😘 x x x you can look all over the place with that and search out places to sleep on it too Adam ❤ ..I’m trying to find the trains where you slept near now 😂🤣
Another new hobby I’ve got is typing in you tube …Live Cam…. And finding cameras all over the world permanently on Live ..watching in real time …they’re good to find out truths of what’s going on in places too via what you can see live and the comment sections there x x x

  10. Container looks like a removable-lid steel transit tin, which Britain used heavily for things like:
.303 rifle ammunition for the Lee–Enfield rifle
Vickers machine-gun belts for the Vickers machine gun
    sometimes grenades or detonators
Those tins were typically produced 1939–1945.

  11. Just wondering,,,, inner, right, forearm you have hiragana ち(chi) tattooed, then below not sure, but possibly わ (wa) or れ (re) rotated 90° anticlockwise. Care to elaborate? Best of luck on the adventure, mate👍🤘🍻

  12. Hi Adam, loving your videos mate. It's very obvious watching your videos that you're a genuine, nice human! Ignore the haters, you know you're doing well on YouTube when these idiots raise their ugly heads. Take no notice and carry on doing what you're doing. Big respect. All the best, Rich.

  13. Railway tracks and land have strict no trespassing laws in France. I learned that from another YouTuber GifGaf who got done by police. So careful and check out to know the risks.

Hate to be a downer, but better forewarned. Good luck, Mr Kiwi.
