I came across this post on Facebook MP and wonder if this is a good price for a bike with this components. The seller says this is a 2021 Trek Fuel Ex5 with upgraded components. He also said it’s been barely used maybe 4 or 5 times a year since bought. Hasn’t taken the bike for suspension service though. He was asking $1800 and went a little down to $1600. I’m located in Dallas Texas. Advice is highly appreciated.

Not really. My wife bought hers new for like 2k. I’ve seen them as low as 1200 on FBMP.
The thing I don’t understand is why somebody would buy an EX5 and upgrade every major component. Honestly there is no good reason to spend the money to upgrade from Deore to XT, but whatever. Save a few grams and nicer shifter I suppose.
IMO $1600 is probably a fair price for this build. Go for it.
honestly that’s a pretty decent price for a fuel ex5 with upgrades, especially if it’s barely been ridden. might wanna budget for that suspension service tho.
