Is $350 a good deal on this trek 1.1 for a beginner road bike? I believe it’s a 2015 Seems to be in like new condition. Any input is appreciated!

  1. Not a great deal, but not a total ripoff. It’s a 47cm frame, assume you’re shorter than 5’2”?

  2. It’s a great bike for a reasonable price. Make sure it’s the correct size as that’s basically an extra extra small.

Great deal! Can barely get a full cable, chain and brake replacement-tuneup for 300. Ensure it’s the right size. 48cm is teeny weenie.

When was the pic taken… Was that when unwrapped new?

Alphas are good but I think that is overpriced. I just gave one away

  5. If you are looking for a sport compact, and the current conditions match the picture, it’s not a terrible deal in HCOL areas.

LCOL areas have wild deals once in a blue moon that beat this if you can drive to them, but if you need a bike right now and you are under 5’2”, even paying 80$ too much is still a solution to a problem you are facing right now.

Thanks for the input! and the bike is actually for my wife. We have been to the trek store to try different sizes and apparently she is an extra small in a trek frame.
