Posted a similar post in r/gravelcycling too, but want to see if anyone here has different opinions. I am looking to get my first gravel bike after borrowing a few different bikes for a while. I have a mountain bike, and I have been getting into road and gravel cycling. I will be riding probably 70% road, 30% gravel, so I want something quick enough not to be sluggish on road/paved paths. My budget is around 2-2.5k. Trying to decide if a new bike on sale or a marketplace used bike is the right way to go. Specifically, a 2020 Pivot Vault with Ultegra and carbon wheels found on marketplace, a new Cervelo Aspero – Apex xplr 1, or a new Kona Ouroboros CR/DL – Rival AXS. Any advice or other suggestions appreciated, thanks!
