Hello everyone! I’m looking for more information about my recently acquired Cannondale.
Based on the serial number (P103214) and the BB shell marking (4IR MD 37), it’s a 2004 CAAD5 Optimo (Alcalyte), Handmade in USA.
The bike features an incredibly detailed and unique custom/limited paint job on a Galactic Gray frame:
Down tube: A hand holding a peacock with intricate patterns.
Seat tube: An elephant with a ceremonial rug on its back, with an eagle underneath.
Top tube: Another elephant motif surrounded by ethnic patterns.
Fork: Si Ultra All Condition.
Components: Shimano Tiagra with Mavic CXP 22 wheels.
Is this a known limited Artist Series or a special regional release (e.g., India/Asia edition)? I haven't found this exact graphic in the standard 2004 catalog. Any insights on the history or production numbers of this edition would be greatly appreciated
