Which bike is best for your buck. Barely used Santa Cruz mega tower carbon with air rear shock or
Brand new alloy Rocky Mountain altitude with rear coil shock?
I climb a lot and single track. And resort ride but mostly flow trails very limited tech trails and no park jumps.
I’m located in southern BC.

Santa Cruz, if it’s the appropriate size for you
I would say they are both overkill for what you are riding. The Rocky is awesome for climbing tech, but not great climbing anywhere else compared to similar bikes. Mega is not a lot different but a little better.Â
