This day was a “eat some kilometres” day. I wanted to maximize my time for the next stage of the adventure (Poland), so I focused on getting some miles under my KTM 690 Enduro R. I started in Kiel and took the quickest route to Schwerin to link up with the Trans Euro Trail Germany, section 2.

The German TET (Section 2) is exactly what I needed—fast, predictable, and incredibly fun. It’s mostly paved but stays on the smallest, most scenic roads possible, spiced with gravel and cobblestone stretches to keep it interesting. It’s the perfect terrain for the KTM 690 to just cruise. I ended the day in Neustrelitz, successfully covering a great distance while still getting my fill of the trail. Border to Poland is just around the corner!
