I want to make my B75 a bit more hill-worthy. It has a 44T in front and a 13T in the back. So as a first step, I thought to seplace the sprocket with a 16T. I Got a 16T (https://www.performancebike.com/sturmey-archer-3speed-flat-cog-1-8-16t-hsl848.0001.0p/p1274605), and of course, it doesn't fit. I think because it is 1/2 x 1/8, and 1/8 is too wide from the Brompton chain. Should I be able to run a 1/8 chain in the B75? Are there other things that might fail? The chain guide ALMOST touches the 16T. I think not, but I can't quite tell yet. Will a 1/8 chain solve my problem?
(Second step will be 54/33 dual chain ring…)
