Lance Armstrong was a professional cyclist who won the Tour de France seven times from 1999 to 2005 after recovering from testicular cancer. For years, he denied allegations that he used performance-enhancing drugs. In 2012, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency concluded that Armstrong had participated in a long-running doping program involving substances such as EPO, testosterone, and blood transfusions, and that members of his team were also involved. As a result, he was stripped of all seven Tour de France titles and banned from professional cycling for life.

  1. I don't understand why charges were brought against Lance. Sure, it's cheating, and he should have his medals revoked. All kinds of athletes use PEDs, are they all charged with a crime?

  2. So he got caught, so what? There is not a single professional sport free of PEDs, but they're just too good at covering it up.

  3. Well if anyone wants to get cancer as bad as Lance had it and take some performance drugs good luck winning!! He still the best for beating all that!!

  4. Lance deserves it. What a lame excuse. Well everyone was using drugs. I can actually look at myself in the mirror and after 64 yrs on a road bike
And sleep without thinking, tomorrow I need to see so and so.
