I can’t decide if I bikepack with the Ridley, or keep the paint fresh without straps rubbing it and continue using the Cervelo. Also the Ridley is my first electric shifting bike, and it’s hard convincing myself now to even think about using mechanical again.

You could always use some of that clear 3M paint protection film to prevent scuffing from the straps. But also with bikes like that you’ll probably get a new one in the next 5 years so just let the wear happen cause that’s what a gravel bike is made for!
