  1. I've got an E- scooter but the way things are going they are really cracking down on them now so I think I'm gonna have to get an e bike because they're less inconspicuous and I'll just hide the battery😂😂😂

  2. Only ok if you pay some local councils who rent them . If they only do 15 mph what the difference between an escooter and a bicycle. There's so much wrong with this country , seeing police wasting time with something so petty is annoying.

  3. Did you also know using the exact same messed up laws in the UK that if you buy your kid an electric toy car and they use it anywhere other than on your own private land ie garden you can get done for exactly all the same laws as escooters.

So next time you see a 3 year old riding down the street on their little electric car know that this could get you points on your licence and their licence before they even know what a licence is.

That is how stupid the laws are in the UK.

    Go figure😢

  4. They should ban the sales of them. Who in their right mind would buy one to ride at home in their garden if they have one. Of course they’re going to ride them out on public rds and pavements. Utterly bonkers to think otherwise. And to those who say they are not a danger, they can be because they are ridden by peeps who aren’t insured. They smash into you they are offțhey aren’t sticking around to give their details are they.

  5. How can we say that riding an electric bicycle or even a mobility scooter be perfectly legal, but an e scooter must adhere to motor vehicle laws. That’s absurd.

  6. To be honest I have never known why but I can take a guess why E scooters were allowed on the roads in the first place, they should of reduced their speed to just the speed of an average jogging speed and allowed them to be used on pavements, the wheels are far too small to be safe enough on the road even with those thicker wheels you see these days.

When we have the statistics in a few years time we will see just how dangerous these are on roads, personally when you already have bicycles that are already allowed on the road I just do not need the point of these E scooters plus they are far less stable on roads aswell especially with the state of roads here in UK.

I say 5 MPH speed limit and allow on footpaths,we already have wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters allowed on footpath so these shouldn't be any different.

  7. I thought the law has just been updated on these
It’s ridiculous you can rent them & that’s fine but not own o me & use it
Such b.s so you must understand why many are confused what the actual law is & why
