Numb groin means your pudendal nerve is being compressed because your body weight is resting on the soft tissue rather than the sit bones.

Your goal is to shift your body balance so that your weight rests on your sit bones instead. To do that, you need to pay attention to how you feel when you ride:
    – do you feel stretched when resting on the hoods of the handlebar? If yes, you’re leaning forward to reach them, which causes your weight to rest on your soft tissue. Fix is to reduce reach by either moving the handlebar closer to you, or the saddle forward.
    – if you don’t feel stretched, then the next thing is to pay attention to whether your weight is indeed resting on your sit bones. If not, that could point to the saddle angle. The saddle tip should NOT be in contact with your soft tissue while cycling. That causes numbness. If that’s the case, move the saddle angle to point slightly down, just enough so that the tip isn’t applying any pressure.

If all that fails, simply pay attention at when you’re failing to rest your weight on your sit bones, and then do whatever needed to remedy that.

    Good luck with that!
