Finally finished my winter project and man does it ride well! So happy with the final result. Was planning this build for over a year and finally riding it feels so rewarding.
Still thinking about switching the saddle to a brown brooks swift, getting some ultradynamico mars tires in grey and some grey oury grips but this are things for a future me with more money

Beautiful bike!
In a funny way, Giant is really the modern successor of Schwinn, which had been the most respected brand in America.
Giant was founded by King Liu in 1971, and started building for Schwinn in 1973. By 1986 Giant was manufacturing 80% of all Schwinns sold. But then Schwinn betrayed them, so Giant started selling bikes under their own name.
(Schwinn later went bankrupt in 1992, and the name was sold off)
