Is this is a prank? If not excuse me. What is your plan with this bike?

  2. Probably not what you want to hear, but that first one is absolute dept store garbage and the second is just so old youll end up paying at least 10x that just to get it rideable. Save for a cheap hardtail.

  3. That gary fisher joshua is worth a bit for some collectors or someone interested in goofy bikes, but that other one belongs in the trash. If you want to start riding some trails then dont get any of those two.

  4. Neither. The Genesis is department store junk, and the GF is totally clapped out. Look at the fork.

Save your money for a decent hardtail.

The Fisher is about 27 years old and was a pile of shit when it was new. The other bike is a hardware store bike.

    Both have negative value.

I’d recommend getting a hardtail. Full suspension bikes are more expensive to buy and maintain. There are very few times you NEED a full suspension bike, especially for a beginner.

Look around and see if you can get a newer used Ozark Trail hardtail. They’re a great value and probably as good as you’re going to get on your budget. Realistically, you’re going to want to spend at least a few hundred dollars.

  7. At that budget you want something that works. I would look for a decent condition name brand trek or specialized or equivalent rigid. Note needing tires will cost 50 bucks. So at a 50 dollar budget. You can totally bebop around a trail for 50 bucks but better bikes are better. Also a bike can easily cost 100 bucks in maintenance.
