I was in a recent crash that totalled my bike, and my dad gifted me his. It is way fancier than I can handle. The bike is a cannondale synapse, not sure exactly how old but probably 5-10 years. It has electronic shifters, and my dad didn't remember how to charge them or have the cord.
Picture 1 is the bike, picture 2 is the only thing I can find resembling a charging port. It's a little box hanging underneath the handlebars. I checked all the other places google told me to check and found nothing.
Is that actually the charging port? If so, what kinda weird proprietary charger do I need to buy for it?
Thanks!
Bonus: pic 3 and 4, my totalled bike frame

See that little box under your stem, there is a little door on the side, plug in your charger to that. It has a specific orientation so make sure you plug it correctly
Here is a guide: https://bettershifting.com/di2-for-dummies-beginners-guide-to-di2-manual/
Dad doesn’t have the charger or the instructions?
Hmm stolen bike alert.
You need the charger it’s the Shimano SM-BTR2
