Free hub drag, your free hub body might have it’s grease turned into a sludge

Why? A sticky freehub.
How to fix? Unstick it.
It’s sometimes just a seal that’s binding, other times it can need pawls cleaning and re-greasing. Over tightened axles can also cause this, but shouldn’t really do so if the hub is all clean and all the components seated properly.
