🤫 SECRET HANDSHAKE GEAR FOR CYCLISTS IN THE KNOW: https://ebdgearshop.com/
Great content! Only gripe is I can't see what the products are on GDPR restricted sites (i.e. backcountry) listed in the description 🙁 Would be good to have the name of product there for those of us who can't access 🙏
Interesting how in this video you recommend for stops and in the new video to bring food to eliminate food anxiety?
I am wondering about something.. why don't you have mud guards on your bike?
I just want to say how AMAZING filming and editing of this video is! The amount of time needed to produce such masterpiece must be amazing. Everything works here – film shots, talking, texts in the background, jokes, know how. Wow! Subscribing.
Excellent video!
I’ll hit you with a couple weird places my friends and I camped on our first ever bike tour, days after graduating high school. On our first night we arrived at a tiny town on the Idaho/Oregon state line with a drive-in movie theater that was having a free showing of Kung Fu Panda 2. Being 18, rather than pin down a place to camp as it was getting dark we decided to pedal the extra mile and go see a movie. At the end of the film, we asked the daughter of the owner of the place who was running concessions if we could camp in the parking lot and we got the OK, and were awoken the next morning to a septic truck there to empty the tank. 20 days later on that same tour our group had spread out a bit; I was quite a bit ahead of the other dudes and found myself in a tiny town in central Oregon called Condon. I went to a diner in town and asked the staff if they knew of anywhere in town I could camp. They gave me vague directions to a trailer park that I could camp at and so I went on a search. After pedaling all 5 roads in the town and not finding this trailer park I decided to duck into what was pretty obviously someone’s junk storage lot thinking the large decaying school and city buses would be sufficient plausible deniability should I be discovered. I nestled in between a sun baked jet boat and school bus, set my alarm for 5am to hopefully wake up before whoever owned the lot came by, and got some fitful sleep.
Great video and funny just earned yourself a sub
Thank you.
"ITS THE WEIGHT" … I spent 3500 on my bike and another 3000 on gear…. In the end I sold the heavy bikepacking bike and got a racebike with a couple velcro top tube bags and a small backpack lol 😅 buy the Lightest bike that you like. Bikepacking and touring are 50% Uphill. Lol 🎉
Hobby hobo – spot on description.
I love this video
4:54 tip for Europe riding…note where the cemeteries are, there is a potable water source in all of them (tip I got from an 85yo cyclist from Paris)
I camped in some bushes in a giant roundabout in France. It turns out people use their horns to an excessive degree in France.
Great. Greetings from Panamá 🇵🇦
Rather than tents, im a huge fan of the pocket style hammocks which you then can run a tarp over top of if it’s raining or storming. Lot less weight and space and always a comfy sleep.
no
What a great video! thank you my friend
Why is this so funny
I camped in the crater of a volcano at 4,300m elevation.
I do things a lot differently. I started off light and added comfort items. Of course I rode trans Canada trail from coast to coast followed by the Pacific Coast through the US and then Baja divide then trans Mexico cycling route and then rural Guatemala.
I've been 5 days cycling without any chance for resupply. 3 day sections with no resupply and no surface water to filter.
I met hundreds of bike packers along the way. And everyone's rig was different.
There's no right way to do it. Just the right way for you.
The links in the description wont even allow me to take a look its giving me a middlefinger because I'm from Europe. well thanks for not giving me any insight
