If it wasn't 25 degrees and snowing I'd take a picture outside and go for a ride. Metal Coral looks amazing, changes depending how the light hits it.
Obviously this isn't stock lol. It got delivered last night and I already had parts stockpiled to swap over. Obligatory pic of my Metal Rhapsody Dame I got back in October to commute/get groceries on. I love that bike and it's what prompted me to put in an order for this to replace my Poseidon X Ambition as my dedicated gravel/allroad bike. Steel is real.
Bike was well packaged, my only qualm is a single paint chip on the non drive side chainstay. I think the seatpost came loose from its wrapping and bonked it. Nbd, its gonna see lots of rocks in its lifetime. Came with a decent toolset and tubeless tape/valves.
Random info for anyone curious:
I'm 5'11, long legs. Both bikes are size ML but obviously the Metal Coral has higher stack.
Weighed in at 27lb no pedals which is .5 over whats listed on the website. Weighs 26.5lb as pictured here.
I needed a breaker bar to get the crank bolt loose. 29mm spindle surprisingly. Chainring bolts are security torx btw.
Their site lists a 46t chainring as the max, I test fit a 48t to see and there's ample clearance.
Stock cassette is close to 500g.
Stock chainring is a 40 tooth
What I changed:
46t chainring
Goldix 11-46t cassette (328g)
Toseek carbon fiber seatpost
Bontrager Montrose saddle
ZTTO hydro/mechanical brake calipers
TPU tubes
Some sweet (close to matching) bottle cages
