This is some sort of very thin wire that I only found after two flats in two days. After patching the tubes, I only found this by running my finger along the entire inside of the tire. It was protruding by less than a millimeter. What a week!

Such is the way. Gotta be careful running that finger across the tire. I had a coworker once get stuck by a hypo needle that way. 😵
