Looking for some advice from any locals or people in the know of cycling in south wales. I'm planning a 3 day bike packing route starting and finishing in Abergavenny. route photo attached.
Day 1: Abergavenny -> Hay on Wye -> Brecon -> Pontarddulais. ~130km
Day 2: Pontarddulais -> Gower Peninsula loop -> Bridgend.
~100km
Day 3: Bridgend -> Merthyr Tydfil -> Abergavenny. ~80km
Recommendations of scenic roads, points of interest, good campsites/hostels/B&B's, challenging hills or a simply good coffee shop would be greatly appreciated.
