Hey guys,
I came across this bike and would really appreciate your opinion.
It’s from a small bike shop in Hamburg (CNC-Bikes). They mainly sell parts but also build complete bikes using individual components and more affordable no-name aluminum frames.
Specs:
- 6061 aluminum frame (no-name)
- Carbon fork
- Full Shimano GRX810, 1×11
- Crank: FC-RX810, 40T
- Cassette: CS-M8000, 11–40
- Brakes: GRX with MT800 Ice-Tec Freeza rotors
- Wheels: Shimano RS470 hubs + Syncros ADT rims
- Tires: Maxxis Ravager 40-622
- Weight: 9.9 kg (size L)
- Internal cable routing
- Price: €1,599
For €1.6k, a full GRX810 build seems pretty high-end to me. 9.9 kg for an aluminum gravel bike with a carbon fork also sounds solid.
What do you think:
- Fair deal or avoid because of the no-name frame?
- Are the wheels decent or likely the weak point?
- Any red flags with a custom parts build like this?
Curious to hear your thoughts.

Do they not have saws in that shop?
