Day 1 I did a few laps on Twisted Sister and Big Sister, the kitty litter surface is no joke. I also saw my first trail snake at Hawes.
Day 2 I rode up Wild Horse to L’Alpe d’Huez -> High Ridge -> L’Alpe d’Huez -> Red Mountain Rush. My favorite trail of the trip.
Day 3 was South Mountain. Javelina Canyon to just past the waterfall on National. Also saw my first trail Gila Monster. Lots and lots of hikers on South Mountain and all were very friendly

Next time you’re in the area, ditch the bike for a morning (sacrilegious… I know) and do the camelback mountain hike! Do the echo canyon side, it’s amazing this time of uear
