I'm thinking of doing this route starting in early may, what do you guys think of it? Any changes?
I'm either going to head to Pamplona via E4 then E1 maybe cutting down through Rennes, or go down E5 then E3 through Orleans. Any recommendations on which one?
Then I'd follow the E3 along to Santiago de Compostela before coming down through Vigo back to the E1 down to Lisbon. I'm quite a forestie person and looking at this map of Spanish forests I see that the north coast has alot but in not sure if that route takes me through them? maybe there's a more coastal route?
Im planning on camping though I've seen that wild camping is alot harder there than here in Scotland, is there any tips to that?
Thanks a bunch in advance!!

Btw I was putting E as eurovelo route! Just realised that might not be obvious
There’s a french cycle route from La Rochelle to Caen – velo francette is the name – I did 70% of the route to from Caen to Saumur which took me 2 days, 110K a day – flat all the way, nice scenery, plenty of stop offs and campsites, towns too to refill etc. You follow rivers so lots of forests to pass by! Would recommend it – but would take longer as to enjoy the scenery more!
Velódyssée, and You can enter Spain through Irún and take the Northern Camino de Santiago , taking advantage of its network of hostels, and after Santiago do the Portuguese coastal Way of Santiago in reverse.
