Go spend $10 and buy a new one and put it in😎
The fill valves that are made today are made really badly and it's better to just replace them.
Couldn't see
Lavatory is a sink for those that are wondering. That white thing that he's taken apart is called a water closet.
Terrible idea to get a homeowner to try this haha! I’m not fooling with that it’s a 10 dollar plastic part. When a homeowner attempts this and there’s water hitting their sealing they’ll be calling me haha
Secrets being told
What about ballcock style floats? Are the fill valves made different?
I don’t but no trash in there just add water
Is that a 3/4 pex crimp ring on your finger? 😂
That never works long term imo
Now what about a fill valve that needs a lot of pressure to start filling up the tank at work I had to disconnect the float and push the arm that the float is attached to in order for the tank to start to fill and push with a good amount of force at that
Thats handyman shit. Just replace the fill valve and flapper.
I just replaced that rubber piece because my toilet was making a noise and now when my toilet is filling up it goes a little bit passed the fill line and now the water wont close
It worked, Thank you.
I had this issue , and the information you have given helped me greatly . Thank you ✌️👌.
You just saved me an emergency plumber visit thank you king 🫡
The problem arises when you shut off the water at the pump. Then when you turn the pump back on it breaks loose scale and stuff then can mess up the sealing qualities of the valve.
