I'm a bit OCD when it comes to cleaning my fork and dropper seals and I'm not a fan of the bottles that Fork boost lube comes in. Anyway, I designed this stupid applicator to make it easier to spread the goo around evenly and behind the arch. I suspect you all think I'm an idiot and wasted precious hours of my life designing a viking helmet for a bottle. At least I'm a happy and evenly lubricated idiot.

The only issue is that fork manufacturers say specifically not to do what you’re doing lol

  2. A few dabs of oil on a clean rag(or dedicated oil rag) achieves the same thing and it looks like you are adding way more oil than necessary for cleaning but if you enjoy it then go for it and congrats on designing a neat little tool despite the naysaying!

  3. This is why I badly want a 3D printer, and also why I should never get one. I would spend all my time dreaming up and creating stuff like this.

Great now the dirt has something to stick to! Of the customer have that do this, their seals are the dirtiest when it’s time for service.

  5. I have never in my entire life applied oil to my fork stanchions. Do you guys actually do this?
