For anyone unfamiliar, Germany is littered with little signposted bike tour routes, ranging from a few dozen kilometers to trips that would a couple weeks, if not longer.
This one is in the Spreewald region, among an inland delta filled with canals and canalside beer gardens, where you can eat pickles by the bucketful (for the electrolytes of course).
We camped near the town of Lubbenau after taking the train 2 hours from Berlin and did a few loops through near the village of Lehde (mostly following the route, but deviating somewhat and cutting out the city of Cottbus so we could leave our camping gear in the same place for an extra night), then broke off onto another touring route called Hofjagdweg to bike back to Berlin on the last day, with a river swim stop, of course.
The whole thing is very flat, very chill, and very cute.
