FisherKing22 on February 24, 2026 6:04 pm You can buy new lowers for much less than the cost of a new fork
cltncrts on February 24, 2026 6:05 pm I forgot to add context. I was rebuilding my damper and came across this crack and loose piece in my lower leg assembly.
tokudasai on February 24, 2026 6:20 pm Drill the hole, use tap and cut new threads, insert helicoil with permanent thread locker, reassemble
brandon-d on February 24, 2026 7:04 pm The correct awnser is this. It looks like a casting issue, which if your fork is within two years of purchase date and your the og owner it will be covered under warranty. If not you need a new lowers assembly. I cant tell 100% what fork and wheel size but here’s some part numbers so you can order them from a fox dealer. Fox 38 29r matte black – 820-20-028-kit Fox 36 29r matte black – 820-20-035-kit
