On 18 May 2025, Hereford played host to one of the most stylish and meaningful motorcycle events of the year — the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride — and this ride captures the day as it unfolded.
From the urban streets of Hereford city centre to the rolling countryside that surrounds it, this route delivered everything: great roads, stunning scenery, and an incredible atmosphere. Add in an amazing collection of bikes — modern classics, vintage machines, café racers and customs — and you’ve got a ride that’s about far more than just motorcycles.
There was, of course, a real need for tweed. Tailored jackets, waistcoats, flat caps and polished boots gave the ride its unmistakable character, but beneath the style is something far more important. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride brings riders together to raise awareness and support for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research, proving that riding well and dressing sharp can genuinely make a difference.
This video is about:
The joy of riding through great scenery
The power of community and shared purpose
Motorcycles as a force for connection and conversation
Enjoying the journey, not just the destination
The ride concludes against the stunning backdrop of Hereford, a fitting end to a day filled with great people, great machines, and a great cause.
Whether you ride, admire from the sidelines, or simply appreciate events that bring people together for something positive, this is a ride worth watching.
Already looking forward to this year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride — and the tweed that will no doubt come with it
