Hi, sorry for my ignorance but I have purchased a 700c fork with canti bosses.
It's from an old trek 7.1 and I think it's got pretty rusty crown race fitted I'd wish to replace.
Could you kind people confirm:
Does this have a crown race fitted?
Shall I remove it with the razor blade method?

Yes, sure, but call your LBS and see how much it is to remove and install (non-split crown race). So much work just to save pennies, plus there is no risk of damage and/or injury
