As per title: Looking for information on this frame that found its way to me a couple of weeks back here in Berlin GER. Some rust on the steering tube and at least four layers of paint (all beyond saving). Not bent or dented at first glance and nice lugs and overall apparently very well made – what caught my eye was the drive side dropout, which in all my years of fiddling with bikes I'd never seen.
Decided to have it sandblasted and got it back over the weekend. Turned out nicely, confirming that the frame has no damage to speak of other then a slightly bent / twisted dropout – but nothing that I am worrying about.
Would really appreciate some help identifying the frame. I'd personally would guess that it is a 50s frame, most likely from a German manufacturer (maybe Bauer) – but this is a very wild guess.
