Given the recent sales that Scott was running at the end of last year, this seems like a question whose answer could benefit others. Has anyone successfully managed to shim a Syncros Duncan 2.0 dropper to reduce the travel? I’m in the middle of the XL sizing but must have a longer torso cause the 170 mm travel is a bit too much, even at the lowest setting. Thanks in advance all, this is my first experience with a dropper post and I’m hoping to avoid replacing it if I can (second pic shows the post where it sits now).

The easiest solution is to get some 2.0mm diameter monofilament fishing line, and crimps. Make a limiting strap, attach one end to the seat clamp bolt and one to a saddle rail. It’s cheap, adjustable and barely noticeable on account of being 2mm thick and clear.
