Is this damage significant and would this be a good deal. It was listed at $1000 now it’s 600 there seems to be some big dent and a crease in the frame. The father said it’s cracked but I can’t really tell from the photo. Clearly there is damage though.

Is there even a question? The top tube and bottom tube are both kinked and dented… stay away from this bike.
Bike is done. Wouldnt trust it to jump a speed bump

Front end damage like that, the fork is probably done for too. The bike looks like it has been abused even before the front end impact. I doubt there are many parts of use. I would stay away if I were you

They rammed that straight into a tree. That a crash warranty claim right there.
My advice would be to not waste your time even looking at it.
