Been asked several times here, and we get several answers ranging from the monstrosity that is the quad lock solution all the way to “don’t use your phone noob”
For those interested, I picked up the SP Connect Aero Mount Pro. I think the 3M tape is secure enough but I leave the rubber band on just in case. It’s been secure for several long rides already.

I’ve used this phone mount for years and never had any issues. Love having my phone right there in the cockpit. One day i’ll upgrade to a computer but for now this works fine.
