As the title says. For short distances, say under 10 miles typically I usually transport my Domane AL in a similar way in the 5’ bed of my truck (except the handlebars sit against the frame) which has always been fine. Drive side up always.
Bought a Speed Concept and the handlebars don’t turn full 90 degrees like the road bike so I’ve just kinda wedged in. The brake rotor isn’t hitting anything and drive side up.
Terrible or? My main worry is hitting some potholes or something that bounces the frame slightly and adds stress to the fork/handlebar area of the frame?
For longer transport, I’ve taken the front wheel off the Domane so it just lays flat. Assuming I can do the same for the SC. Thoughts?

Should be perfectly fine as long as the drive train is up and the brakes aren’t being squeezed. I do this all the time. Never had an issue.
Should be fine. I’d be sure to lay a moving blanket underneath it though.
Flip it so the drivetrain is not being squished.
Edit: it’s on the correct position. The picture was not clear at first. Nvm😂
I think it’s fine, you’ve got a nice bed liner (or truck liner, whatever it’s called).
