I have mainly worked with Shimano parts during my various projects. These Suntour/Dia Comp parts from my recent Bridgestone MB2 are quite nice..
The cranks are super nicely finished and the shifter has such a enjoyable tactility to them.

its my favorite part of a rebuild! getting jockey wheels spinning smooth and brake pivots rotating freely is very satisfying. plus cranks becoming all shiny 🙂
The best return on effort for me is de-gunking trigger shifters. That followed by brake setup. Nothing like the “clack” of brakes that touch the rim at exactly the same instant! Then there is always the words of friends “That can’t be the same junker you had on the back of your car, is it?”
