QR Thru Axle to Bolt Thru Axle

I want to replace this QR Axle that closes with a lever (like traditional QR skewer) with this Axle that closes with a 6mm hex key.

Will one with the same dimensions work? Or does it need different length? (It's on the rear wheel)
