In my previous post, I mentioned a broken plastic housing on my 1970s Shimano 3-speed. Here’s some photos that show the broken housing. Please see the busted, black plastic shroud at the point where the cable enters the shifter. I was thinking that one of the contemporary twist grip shifters might be a good way to go, but I’m open to repair thots.
