I have only 3000mi on my Gates belt (with Pinion C1.12 gearbox) and always carry a spare belt. But now I’m worried if my spare might have been inadvertently damaged and fail when I need it. Maybe it’s time to look into carrying it in a padded, 3D-printed hard case.
