While putting together a list of parts to order for an upcoming 90s MTB commuter conversion I came acros the Topeak Handlebar Rack, which seems like a harder to steal and cheaper alternative to Jack the Bike Rack.

I do quite a bit of Mountainbiking with a longer travel enduro bike and some gravel/road riding, so I thought it would make sense to get a handlebar rack for the commuter build rather than a QR- or Fork- mounted one. Being able to use it with those bikes should the need arise seems pretty handy.

The Topeak one being harder to steal is an important feature to me, since I live in a big city and would need to park the commuter-bike during the day in public places such as train stations or at university.

Does anyone have experience with the Topeak one? I'm aware it won't be suitable for doing some proper enduro-trails, however being able to use it for some light MTB-Bikepacking in the alps would be awesome.

There are quite a few reviews for the Jack the Bike Rack, I couldn't find any for the Topeak one though.

Thanks in advance!
