  1. There is no free lunch. An endurance bike is a slow race bike or an inadequate gravel bike. If you can only afford one bike, go ahead and buy an endurance bike. But know that you'll be fixing flats all day on gravel and you'll be getting dropped all day on the road. "All Road" is a ripoff category IMO.

  2. I have a Roubaix SL8 and it's great. I do wonder if the Giant Revolt might have been a better option though. Did you consider adding the Giant to the list?

  3. I've just bought a Merida Scultura 5000 (carbon, discs, 105 DI2). Fantastic thing it is too. Light, responsive, great shifting, space for 30mm tyres, looks great and comfortable. It the only bike I need for riding to work and fitness.

  4. I was shopping around for Synapse and one of the local official dealers (I live in Brussels, Belgium) happens to be also the Lapierre dealer. I was fortunate to test the brand new Pulsium 6.0 and… fell in love with it instantly – so now I am a proud and happy owner of a beautiful endurance Lapierre and loving every minute on it. It's comfy and fast enough, modern with all the new gadgets (neatly integrated cockpit, 105 Di2, and a beautiful grey with pinkish hue color on the frame). Why does no-one ever mention Lapierre in reviews – I hope nothing is wrong with this brand ;-)…

  5. I wish biking channels would give city people some more love. I'm in Boston MA trying to figure out if I wanna go lightweight or aero, basically lots of stop and go, but also crazy afternoon headwinds, rough roads and of course hills

  6. Its vital to understand that tire clearance is just a spec. Wider tires require an entire wheel-set, aka another $2000. You can't put 40mm tires on a rim with a 21mm inner diameter. So get the bike that meets the need your most interested in!

  7. The Cannondale Evo 2024〜 has a race geometry with plenty of room for wide tires. Throw in the new aero Trek water bottles and you’ve got a racy comfy bike.

  8. a titanium bike beats them all such as my Enigma Etape if u dont mind the small amount of extra weight, so comfortable and smooth and planted on the road, its a 4 season bike, got it for my winter bike but use it in the summer on my longer rides with the mud guards off, my carbon bikes I use on the shorter rides thanks for the vid,
