Hi all.
I’ve found a Rose Reveal 4 for around €2,200 ( https://www.rosebikes.com/p/rose-reveal-04-105-di2-2722257 ) and I’m trying to understand whether this is genuinely a good deal in today’s market.
About me: I’m 187 cm tall with a 91 cm inseam. I currently ride a Cube Attain (2019) in size 58 and it fits me well overall. I ride around 130 km per week and I’m looking for something a bit more responsive and engaging, while still keeping endurance comfort. Hydraulic disc brakes and a solid groupset are important to me.
The Reveal seems well specced for the price, but I’d appreciate opinions from people who know the bike or the current market:
- Is €2,200 a strong price for a Rose Reveal 4 in terms of frame quality and overall value?
- How does it compare to bikes in a similar price range, such as the Cube Agree?
- Any long-term ownership feedback (ride feel, durability, finish quality)?
Sizing is my main hesitation. I’ve tried both sizes available to me:
- 57: the cockpit felt comfortable but noticeably shorter than my Attain. Because of my inseam, I had to raise the saddle quite a lot.
- 59: the saddle height felt more proportionate, but I was slightly more stretched out.
For someone with my proportions, would you size up and shorten the stem slightly, or size down and run a higher saddle? I’d especially appreciate feedback from riders around my height.
