Finished the setup yesterday and went for a 50km ride. I swapped the Aeolus Pro 37 wheels and Michelin Power Cup 30c tires from my Domane AL2 over to the Madone. I also installed the Magene PES P515 (170mm) cranks.
Interestingly, the Madone actually feels more comfortable. On my Domane (size 56), I had the steerer tube completely slammed, so the Madone feels oddly relaxed in comparison. Even though it's about 1kg lighter, I don't really feel the difference yet—maybe because it’s my first ride in a few months. Now that I have a new bike, I’d better get back to riding seriously!
